Role: Myth
Role Qualities/Attributes: Agatha will manifest purple claws as if they were her normal hands. When angry or telling major lies horns and a tail will start to grow. These are pitch black fading to a grey color.
Role Reasoning:
Agatha is a very selfish person, most of her actions are driven by the need for power and the lack of care for living creatures. She is able to mask those parts of herself when interacting with people even giving herself an alter ego in order to invade the Westview hex. There is never a true face shown to people and her actions are based in wanting to control others around her. While she's a villain there is still a side of her that wants to mentor and teach to the select few she thinks are worthy. Ideally she'll be trying to figure out how to shift into a new phase of life that isn't just trying to control people.
❥ Personality
Option 2. Choose FOUR-FIVE of the following questions to answer and expand upon. Each answer has a 100-300 word requirement.
Option 2 questions (4-5). 100-300 word limit each:
❥ What was the most traumatic experience your character endured? How did this change them?
Agatha lost her son, Nicky, to sickness. She had begged for more time but was granted only six years of happiness with him. All she ever wanted was a loving life with her son, but she was betrayed by the woman she loved. Though she had hunted witches before, it was solely to protect Nicky from harm, not out of a desire for power. After his death, grief consumed her, transforming her into a ruthless killer. She used the memories of her son and the song they once sang together to lure other witches, stealing their power for herself.
❥ What is your character's moral code? Do they have one? Why or why not?
She doesn’t have a long list of moral principles, but her main one is refusing to harm children or women with young children. Agatha understands the pain of losing a child and would never wish that on anyone. If a witch has children who depend on her or if there are young children without powers, she won’t target them. During her time in the Hex, she never harmed Tommy or Billy—she only confined them to a room or restrained their hands and powers. Even though they were magically created children of the woman whose power she sought to absorb, her moral code still restrained her.
❥ Is your character capable of forgiveness or will they hold a grudge until they die? Would anything ever make them change their mind?
Agatha holds a grudge against certain people, particularly Rio, due to how their relationship ended the first time. She harbored rage and anger from Nicky's death and Rio's broken promise not to harm him. She went so far as to seek out the Darkhold to conceal her presence from Rio and gain power no mortal should possess. Nothing could change her mind about Rio.
However, she still has the capacity to forgive others. Despite her history with Wanda, she ultimately accepted her failure to take Wanda’s power and did not take out her frustration on Wanda’s children. She admitted to binding Jen’s magic but still encouraged her, insisting that her skills were needed to make the world a better place. Though her actions were far from benevolent, they demonstrated an attempt at forgiveness, even if it was not a simple or complete one.
❥ What is your character's safespace? When do they feel the most settled and comfortable? When do they feel confident and relaxed?
Her safe space is not a place but an object—her brooch, which belonged to her mother and contains the last remains of her son. She always keeps it close, never parting from it. Even while pretending to be under Wanda’s hex, she wore it openly, visible through her various outfit changes. In moments of high stress or uncertainty, she can be seen clutching it to her chest or touching it as a way to ground herself and regain focus.
Agatha’s tears have fallen on the brooch twice: first, when Nicky died, and again during the final trial on the Witch’s Road—the only time she has truly allowed her emotions to show. The brooch serves as a physical anchor, helping her find comfort and stability in difficult situations.
❥ What would your character sacrifice to get what they want or to reach their potential? What have they sacrificed already?
Agatha is willing to sacrifice others without hesitation—she kills without remorse and takes people's power without a second thought. However, she is unwilling to sacrifice her own life or power; for her, it is always a matter of deception at the expense of others. She cons people into their own deaths, sells spells and artifacts for profit without concern for their consequences, and manipulates those around her to serve her ambitions.
She feels little remorse for her actions as long as they bring her closer to greater power and potential. Agatha even sacrificed her own coven, including her mother, demonstrated a willingness to lead others to their demise, and managed to deceive Death itself. Ultimately, her sacrifices are never personal—they are always at the expense of those around her, all in pursuit of her own selfish goals.
